One definition of leadership – Daniel

The following blog was written by a student that attended one of my Leadership Labs. The writing was in response to the question “How would you define leadership?”
Leadership to me is being able to take a group pf people from one point to another efficiently. Whenever I think of this, I’m reminded of great leaders in the Bible like Gideon, Joshua, and Moses, who were all very efficient leaders. Moses who stayed with his people though think and thin, no matter how mad they made him he would ask God to forgive them. Which is a very good leadership trait that most leaders need, the ability to forgive the people who you are lading, even if they don’t necessarily deserve to be forgiven. Joshua is also a great person to look up to as a leader because Joshua, who, before he led the Israelites into the promise land was Moses’s servant, who many years before was being groomed by God to lead Israel, he was one of the most fearless leaders in the Bible. Who trusted God no matter what. These are two Godly traits that every leader needs to have, to be a successful leader.
